Guardian : work in progress

I am working on a texture for the Arm guardian:
It's still work in progress as I am still adding details. I used 3DMEditor2's ambient occlusion algorithm to get a lightmap I tweaked a bit with gimp.
I also made a few textures I used as patterns to make the guardian texture:

Actually it's not my model, I only made the texture. The model is from Cremuss.

Please don't use that texture.
Ya know if you have any UV mapped, untextured models I could probably do a half decent job, just show me to them. I say they need to be UV mapped because that part takes time for me.

Well, looks like now you are the only descent Artist here
If you`ll look this thread - you`ll find some links to the nice texture depositories that are free to use.

No where near done yet but I think I'm making some progress.
Working on perfecting flares and also remaking the menu GUI too.

I guess you know, that 3DMeditor2 allows auto rendering occlusion maps for objects to help you
?

Dowloaded it, tried to open the .exe, error, then put it in the TA3D folder with the game and still got the error.

That's strange, it's not supposed to send anything, it's not a network tool. I've just tested a fresh install (downloaded from the FTP) on both windows XP and 7 (in a virtual machine), I got it working in both cases out of the box. It seems to be nothing wrong with the package itself.
Which windows version are you running ?

Tried 3DMEditor beta8 on Windows XP Prof. SP2. No problems noticed.
A small suggestion for 3DMeditor - add the "Undo" button

I computed the ambient occlusion map for you, you'll find it here:
