Help ! Icon for TA3D !

I don't really know where to post this topic, here should be fine.
It would be great if someone would have enough skill to create an icon for TA3D. My first idea was to take the splash screen and to remove the background. But perhaps someone has a better idea
This icon could be used for both Windows and Linux as well.

Requirements :
- SVG if possible, a transparent PNG otherwise (no .jpg, no .ico, no .bmp, no .pdf...)
- If not SVG, the following formats are mandatory : 32x32, 512x512, those would be helpful : 64x64, 128x128, 256x256

Any idea ?

Why not, but in 512x512 too
Note: 512x512 is needed for OS X (and it could be used for Windows 7 as well)

Current icon (http://trac.ta3d.org/browser/trunk/src/ta3d/ta3d.png) is a 128x128 png I made from a much bigger image I can make a bigger one.

I've made a much bigger one (but without any kind of contour effect) from the original commander picture. See ftp://downloads.ta3d.org/misc, there are both the original image and the extracted commander (not resized so it's a 768x768 PNG).

Maybe we could add another unit on it like a bomber and a few effects
