I absolutely agree with this. That way I can play Escalation in peace.New FBI tags should be added to work with new features such as teleportation, shield generators or submersible subs. How this will be properly implemented is up to you really, but modders will use them for sure.
i have had this maybe once before, but all the same, should be fixed.2. The engine reads TA scripts numbers wrong! movements like when the top half of the commander turns round to shoot a target behind him, he turns, raises an arm, shoos then tries to move back too soon, then is forced to shoot again mid way through turning back. Seems that the TA3D engine doubles the speed of movements like that. not sure, test it and see. And other things like weapons seem similar, like the d-gun shoots two times further across the ground (when it bounces) this needs to probably be halved somehow.
Not only this but the engine apparently does not recognize certain weapon tags. I do not like that.
I kinda like this idea, i can use escalation properly with upgrades!Need advanced scripting support for things like z-bots and the ESC Spiderbot
Need Xon dll support - this is in I believe but not fully realized
- the mist important part are the unit detect components
Need High trajectory support - can TA3D units fire over 45' angles? I like how spring gives you an option to this in game
I think the ai should be like ota ai but where it uses advanced strategy.
